Scratch no More is the only floor protector to emerge scratch-free in the scratch comparison test conducted by The Dutch Floor Testing Company. Furniture glides made from felt, Teflon, plastic, and Scratch no More were evaluated in this test.

Test Results
All furniture glides were tested under identical conditions on a PU-coated floor sprinkled with sand. The results were clear: felt, Teflon, and plastic caused visible damage to the floor, while the Scratch no More glides left the floor completely intact. The sand caught between the floor and the felt, Teflon, or plastic glides created a sandpaper-like effect. In contrast, the polyamide fibres of the Scratch no More glides swept away the sand without causing any damage.

Test Procedure
All floor protectors were mounted onto a wooden leg for this test. The legs with furniture glides were placed in the machine with a weight of 1,000 grams. A layer of 0.3 grams of play sand was spread beneath the protectors. The machine was then run for 60 seconds in a clockwise direction, followed by 60 seconds counter-clockwise, at a speed of 75 rotations per minute. The test surface was a PU-coated floor with a lacquer finish. This testing method ensures the process is unbiased and reproducible.
