Equipped with soft thermoplastic tread
The best solution for hard floors
In the video below, Anette explains step by step how to measure the stem and mount Scratch no More castor wheels under your furniture.
Product features
Flooring type: suitable for all hard and soft flooring.
Material: soft, scratch-proof tread made of thermoplastic rubber (TPR).
Installation: grip ring stem or threaded stem (Thoroughly measure the section of the stem that attaches to the furniture leg using callipers!)
Important information
Swivel castors must be mounted perpendicular to the floor for the castors to roll and rotate freely instead of dragging across the floor.
We recommend to order our stems along with the swivel castors to ensure the perfect fit. The current stems may be slightly different, resulting in the castors to be mounted too tight or too loose. To do this, always measure the section of the stem that is fastened in the furniture leg.
Mounting instructions
Mounting instructions:
Please follow the steps below in order to mount the design castors:
Pull the current castor and stem away from the socket. Often both the castor and the grip ring stem will come loose when you pull them out. If only the castor comes loose and the stem is stuck, clamp it with a pipe wrench and use a hammer to gently tap on the wrench in order to release the stem from the socket.
Now insert the new swivel castor with grip ring stem by simply pushing it into the hole until it locks into place.
Please note: Swivel castors must be mounted perpendicular to the floor. Incorrectly mounted castors get stuck, dragging across the floor and damaging it.
Maintenance: If necessary, clean the castor tread with a damp cloth. If the surface is heavily soiled, a diluted, mild cleaning agent (e.g. washing-up liquid) can be used additionally. Do not use abrasive, acidic or otherwise aggressive cleaning agents such as scouring cream or chlorine.
